Clinical supervision

Psychotherapists, counsellors, mental health professionals, psychiatrists and clinical psychologists.

Overview

Supervision provides oversight for a variety of clinical work, and gives opportunity for reflection and learning, as well as fulfilling the requirements of accrediting bodies. Supervision is provided in a variety of ways:

  • Individual supervision
  • Supervisor-led supervision groups
  • Peer supervision groups

For

Psychotherapists, counsellors, psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and other mental health professionals.

Group supervision of clinical work with individuals.

Consultation Groups for Service Managers – meeting monthly

For

Managers running clinical or other services in the NHS, charitable, voluntary and private sectors.

Offering

Understanding of how services do and don’t work, exploration of alternatives, and peer support.
