About Jane Porterfield
I have thirty years of experience working in mental health services and the NHS. I provide psychotherapy and counselling, working both with adults and young people within various settings, more latterly a Specialist Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Service, NHS Tertiary Service and GP Practice. I have also been a Student Counsellor at Durham University for several years. I work with individuals and groups offering short and longer term therapy and like most explorative therapies, if would be clients want to understand themselves and relationships better, and endeavour to get in contact with their creative side, therapy can help them achieve this goal. I am also a UKCP & HCPC Registered Practitioner. I have 8 years clinical training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and previously a 5 years training in a Integrative model of therapy.
