About Dr Tracy Richardson
I am a Clinical Psychologist and the clinical lead for the Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) service at the Tuke Centre. I work across the CBT, Personality Disorder and PTSD teams here. My work includes seeing clients for individual therapy as well as heading up and developing the PTSD service.
I completed my first degree at the University of York in 2002 and worked in various places after that, including at the Retreat Hospital as a volunteer and as an Assistant Psychologist. I then went to Teesside University to train as a Clinical Psychologist and qualified in 2009. I found myself back at the Retreat in the older adult units, and then came across to the Tuke Centre in 2014.
I am passionate about working alongside people who are experiencing difficulties to help them make the changes they wish to make in their lives.
